Michelle Shoetan
Organizing Manager

Michelle Shoetan is the Organizing Manager of DFER DC and its affiliate nonpartisan, nonprofit organization ERN DC.  Her passion for organizing is rooted in lived experience and a deep commitment to social justice. Michelle brings extensive experience in grassroots organizing, community engagement, and volunteer management. Previously, as programs lead at One Tent Health, she organized 100+ community events, connecting 700 high-risk individuals to essential health services while managing a network of 275 volunteers. As deputy director at The Outreach Team, she led large-scale electoral mobilization, training and managing teams of up to 150 staff to drive victories in reproductive rights and affordable housing campaigns nationwide.
